📚 Once a reader, always a reader
About
Plunge into the heart of the intimacy of readers and their libraries with Lecteur un jour, lecteur toujours, an immersive exhibition imagined by Blanche Konrad, at the frontier of documentary and fiction.
Born of encounters between the artist and passionate readers, this exhibition offers a sound and visual journey made up of eight sensitive portraits. Each work opens the door to a home, a personal library, an intimate relationship with books and reading. Here, the stories are not only in the books, but also in those who read them.
Visitors are invited to step into these private spaces, to listen, watch and feel the singular bond forged between a person, their books and the moments shared around reading. An immersive, human and delicate experience that highlights reading as an act of encounter, transmission and relationship.
Performing artist, visual artist and cultural mediator, Blanche Konrad has been developing hybrid artistic projects rooted in relational aesthetics and the anthropology of the present for many years. Her work places the human, the exchange and the lived moment at the heart of the creative process.
An exhibition to discover for those who love books, but above all the human stories they contain.
