European Night of Museums 2026 in Bayonne

On Saturday, May 23, 2026, Bayonne joins the European Night of Museums! Several local museums will open late and with free admission, creating the perfect evening to wander through collections, soak up the after-hours atmosphere, and rediscover Bayonne’s heritage in a different light.

What’s planned: special late openings at the Musée Bonnat-Helleu, the Basque Museum, and the Bayonne History Museum until 10pm or 11pm (depending on the venue). During the day, special activities are also announced at the Natural History Museum. A great, budget-friendly outing with friends or family—no ticket required.
